2/1/17 - Summary judgment granted
Plaintiff sued the Firm’s client, a grocery store chain with locations throughout the Northeast, in New York Supreme Court. Plaintiff claimed she fell due to a sticky substance on the floor and, as a result, sustained serious injuries, including fractured humerus and tibia with lengthy rehabilitation. Read More
1/4/17 - Defense and indemnity accepted
Plaintiff sued the Firm’s client, a national shopping mall developer, in Connecticut Superior Court. Plaintiff claimed she fell due to ice in the parking lot and, as a result, sustained serious injuries, including two arthroscopic surgeries to her knee and a total knee replacement. Read More
4/7/16 - Summary judgment granted
Plaintiff, a New York resident, sued the Firm’s client, a national retailer, claiming she slipped and fell on liquid on the floor. Plaintiff claimed that as a result, she sustained serious injuries, including an arthroscopic shoulder surgery and subsequent total shoulder replacement. 5/12/15 - We are pleased to announce that Ms. Nigro has been appointed to the Committee on Character & Fitness for the Appellate Division, Second Department for the Second, Tenth, Eleventh and Thirteenth Judicial Districts by Presiding Justice Randall T. Eng. The Committee on Character and Fitness is charged with investigating and ensuring that individuals who are applying to the New York State Bar possess the character and fitness necessary to practice law in the courts of this State. Ms. Nigro's four year term began on March 1, 2015.
